too much sun exposure is bad for tattoo's, they fade and become fuzzy looking. not really worth it when u consider how much you paid and that it will be there forever.

Sunburn is not good for tattoos. Sunburn is not good for any skin. If it is a freshly applied tattoo, you run the risk of poor healing. I am sure you were advised to stay out of the sun.

The sun degrades the ink. If you look at a tattoo that has been under clothing the same amount of time as one on an arm exposed daily to sun, you will see a huge difference in the quality.

Yes It is you should not let your tattoo be in the sun unless you use SPF 50 or higher. The sun fades the color in your tattoo. i have 5 of them and do not go out unless they have SPF 50 the sport one so you i do not sweat it off.

i think too much sunburn would. put on sunscreen and i think you should be fine.

if the tatoo is around your face, it might look bad. if its at other places, nobody give a damn
