im thinking of getting 4 tattoos. two stars on my back between my shoulder blades...I heart you on my inner lip...and a saying on my wrist...and my zodic sign on my hip. which one(s) hurt the most?

The hip will probably be the most irritating, especially the closer you get to the actual hip bone. The ribs/stomach area is the worst area for any tattoo pain wise. Keeping this in mind, the hip is not so far away. Also remember some artists are heavy handed and some are gentle. Do your research on the artists and be prepared for the hip tattoo. The others should all be cake!

Do Not take advil before getting your tattoo! It will thin your blood and make you bleed more!! Just take it afterward! most places will do tattoos above the neck, most would discourage anything on the neck or head area unless you are already heavily tattooed, but they will still do it if you really want it. And a heart on your inner lip they should do. As people before have said anything where there isn't alot of meat (on the bone) will hurt pretty bad. No matter what don't go into this thinking it is not going to hurt that bad because it does hurt! Your are having needles drug across your skin! Of course it is going to hurt. Just think of a mechanical pencil with a metal tip being drug across your skin way too hard and you will start to have an idea.

I've been told that having a tattoo done on any part of your body that does not have a lot of fat over bone will hurt. That is why the tattoo of my shoulder hurt more than the ones on my legs. I don't know if it is legal for a tattoo artist to give you a tattoo above the neck. If you want one on your lip, it would have to be done a home unless laws have changed. I think your best bet would be the hip.

Well I don't know from experience, but my niece has several and she says, the inside of lip will hurt the most, followed by the wrist, if on the inside, the hip will hurt the least.

I think the lip would hurt the most.
I have tattoos in two of the areas you menioned -
Back between shoulder blades and one on my hip.
Those two really didn't hurt that badly.

Hip will hurt the most. I've got one on my hip and it wasn't fun. Mine was partly on the bone which is why it hurt so bad. If its not on the bone it won't be brutal. So if any of your tattoos are on the bone then that will be the worst one.

i have a tattoo on my wrist and it wasn't too bad.....i did take 2 advils thou just in case but i would think the one on your lip would hurt the most since that area is more sensitive

probaby hips because there is lesser fats there. i tink the one which wil hurt least are the stars..

i think it really just depends on the person. Some people can handle pain alot better than others and some well... are just babies.
