No, for all the above reasons, like not being able to go back or go in the water and all that. But, more importantly for your safety. You should know the artist you are getting a tattoo and be comfortable with them. You should be able to see tattoos they have done before and watch one in progress. It is not safe to get a tattoo just anywhere. It is technically a wound and you do not want it to be infected and ruin your holiday. If you do chose to do this, make sure you spend enough time in the parlour to see the artist do a tattoo on someone else, so you're comfortable with him or her.

NO! Until they are fully healed, tattoos must be kept out of the sun and not submerged in any water (even baths.) (Showers are ok because the tattoo is not submerged.) Since the skin takes time to heal, you cannot use sunscreen on the tattoo while it's healing, so if you're planning on getting it somewhere where it will be exposed to the sun, you will have problems with sunburn and improper healing.
You should also do some research on the shop you plan to go to--make sure it's a sterile environment and look at the portfolios of the artists.

Sure, but keep in mind that you cant swim for at least two weeks after getting a tattoo.

it depends on what kind of tat u want! i would get a tiny initial or symbol that means a lot to you if it is your first tat. maybe the next time you ask a ? you could give me more details so i can really help you

yes you totally should, but do it at the end of your vacation so you don't have to miss out on any fun activities ( it cant get too much sun or water).
