loyalty be to not want to serve their natural "God Created" desires? Did he not tell Adam the name of the trees himself? One was "Knowledge" and the other was "Life" right? Aren't these both natural desires for us even 6000 or so years later?

I understand that what is said to be in play was man’s subjection to God but, was that ever really in question? Who made who? It’s clear that man, as a creation, would be less than and not equal to his maker right? So, why test humans?

Hebrew 6:4 - 6

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

by our own effort we can not attain salvation but through Christ, but we can LOSE salvation. even Judas was prphesiced as being called a friend of Jesus before the betrayal in Mark 14:10.

what's your thoughts on this

Iam 43 and seeing a 38 year old man. He works alot of overtime. Ive been seeing him for over 5 weeks now.He lives closeby as well.

The past 3 weeks, he has broken the plans we had on our 'days" together or it has been dwindled down to 2 hours together. This apologized as he has a busy schedule, hes trying to save alot to get his daughter in a custody suit coming in March. He also has not been well, a van fell on him last summer and he may have a ruptured kidney that needs surgery. But for this past weekend, he promised me he'd be free all sat and sunday days and for me to plan something I'd like to do somewhere with him and we would go. I even asked a girl at work to help me as Im new to this city and she had some suggestions. I had bought tickets for something we could go see and he did not contact me all weekend. Not even a phone call. His cellular voicemail is out of order but he does know when I call. He may be working out of cellular range. What shoudl I do with this man??

We've all heard about men having Guts or B alls. But do you really know
the difference between them?
In an effort to keep you informed, the definition for each is listed
below...

GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met
by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: "Are you still
cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

B ALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of
perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the
butt and having the balls to say: "You're next, fatty."

I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions.

Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome, since both
ultimately result in death.

In my school yearbook, there's a section where your class decides on what celebrity you are most like. One of the yearbook editors told me I was Paris Hilton. Can you think of any reasons that someone would be a "Paris Hilton?" Should I be offended?

What I mean is this, there is a lot of generalizations on both sides in this forum. I myself have foolishly made a few. When someone posts a question that is generalized, why do so many take it personally as if the questioner was directing it singly at you. If it doesn't apply then why take if personally?

Most of the thumbs-down in this section are just because you don't agree with someone's religion. Maybe we should just ignore those people one day a week, and just emphasize the positive with Thumbs-Up to the answers we think are the best! Anyone with me?

Woth Kabbahlah being so maistream nowadays, I curious to know if it really does hold the greater truths about life in the human realm? I don't know very much about other than what I have read about it in popular magazines. Can anyone elaborate more about what Kabbahlah is all about? Thank you!

Okay, so they're showing Harry Potter again on TV and this time I noticed there are commercials for a 30-song gospel collection…

So, I suppose a “flip side” question of my previous one (for Christian Harry Potter fans) is in order now.

Are you somehow offended on some level that you and/or your children are exposed to Christian marketing/recruitment in this manner when watching Harry Potter?

A more important question, particularly for ex-Christians, do you feel (HOWEVER SLIGHT) that you or your children become momentarily swayed towards Christianity (along with a doubt about your atheist convictions) when the commercial comes on?
