Since the flu virus can't "evolve" I see no reason why they need a yearly update.

LOL, no kidding.
Personally I'd like to see ANY creationist who also rejects Evolution to eschew ANY and ALL innoculations.
That way, at least they won't be able to pass on their moronic genes to another generation.

This has been asked before. I think some were saying that a flu virus changing into different strains is an example of micro-evolution, which is "ok". The flu virus isn't going to change into a person. Whereas macroevolution is about the evolution of whole new species from other species.

Craigm: Wow, viruses are not "alive" so they don't seem to be concern to evolution? All biotic issues are concern to evolution. I hate to be so bluntly rude, yet: you're a dumbass. Jenn: Evolution does not mean issues become different issues that exist already, that's not clever in any comprehend. Viruses evolve, they don't in ordinary terms for my area mutate, because of the fact in contrast to a random genetic mutation, an developed viral tension will in no way produce a "commonplace" tension-- it is going to in ordinary terms reproduce itself, or proceed to alter. Flu computer virus #2 will in no way lower back produce flu computer virus #a million. And the clarification we are able to manage developed lines with as much as date vaccinations is because of the fact they have all developed an analogous way based on being subjected to an analogous situations. Edit: when I say "mutation," here, i'm utilising it the way the creationists are-- as something distinctive from evolution, not a ingredient of evolution. I understand that, technically, all issues "mutate" to conform.

Actually, look it up, you will find that it is not "evolution" that causes the flu to change.

The flu changes yearly because the weaker strains are being destroyed by anti-biotics, etc, and this leaves only the stronger strains intact. Therefore, each year we kill weaker viruses stronger ones survive and reproduce.

Therefore, the weaker strains are not turning into stronger ones, they are being killed. Hopefully this makes sense ....

Your arguments for evolution are quite lame. Get a life already.
