Dont tell me because its good to have manners. I dont want to hear all the social expectations of people (dont fart, burp, chew with your mouth closed, etc) I want to know WHY. why do we have magic words (please, thank you, excuse me) that make everything okay? isnt this slightly ridiculous? why cant humans accept each other in their natural state. why are burps, farts, boogers etc. so gross to everyone? we all do it, but judge others for doing it. it just so idiotic. I am anti- manners. whos with me?

Eating donuts in the breakroom he makes your annual salary plus half. Gas prices and the cost of living is increasing for the middle/lower class (the foreclosure crisis) and we're trillions of dollars in debt due to the Iraq war.

Is anyone else angry about what's happening? America's being sold out by big business and special interests. If we continue going down the path of King George or Giuliani we will be bankrupt slaves working 15 hours a day to barely get by.

Baseball died out in Britain at the beginning of the Nineteenth Century, its obviously still massive in the USA.

But Cricket seems more popular world wide. Its a big sport in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Bahamas, Guyana, Bermuda, Kenya and Zimbabwe, and is growing in Ireland, Holland, Italy, Denmark, Israel, Nepal, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Namibia, Uganda, Fiji and Mauritius, and is even played a little in Canada,Argentina China and Greece now!

Baseball seems only really big in USA, Cuba, Japan and Venezuela.

Will it ever grow as big as cricket?

PS; Personally i cant stand either sport!

If you tell these stories to your children, and make them live their life by a set of rules from stories that are false in their claims, aren't you breaking some sort of Commandment?

I know some of the obvious answers here... but I'm curious as to how Christians explain to people that they should live their lives based on a book full of fictional stories written, with the apparent intent, to deceive.

I'm sure it's been asked before... Sorry.

I have been up most of the night with indigestion and my stomach feels really upset, but I don't know how to make it feel better. I tried antacids which didn't help much. Can you still catch the "flu" virus even if you had the shot and also what can I do to relieve my stomachache the fastest?

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner. I got out ten dollars and asked, "If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it?" "No I had to stop drinking years ago", the woman told me. Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food" I asked. "No, I don't waste time shopping, the woman said. I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive. Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food? Are you nuts! replied the woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years. Well, I said, I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight. The woman was shocked. Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? 'm asking because I'm planning to buy a computer and there's a 2.6 and 2.8 Ghz computers and the 2.8ghz is a expensier than the 2.6ghz.

Catholic leaders are demanding that christians boycott the new Hollywood film The Golden Compass due to the fact that it promotes atheism.

Is this just an over reaction or should we really be concerned about a move to secularism and the moral collapse that this would bring about?

In short, should atheists and their teaching be boycotted by the moral majority in order to safeguard established values?

Well my sister has really extreme allergies... she alergic to food stuff like nuts, dairy, eggs, seeds some fruit but also fur and the saliva of animals. They make her sneeze, itch, her eyes swell and she gets a rash! She would LOVE a pet all her friends do but we cant let her as it is not worth the suffering she would experience (although we cant explain this 2 her she is only 4!) Is there any pet she can have .... except fish as there not exactly exciting .... that wouldn't aggravate her allergies? I would love to buy her something as she would love it!

i like this boy madly in school
and maybe i shud tell u
his name is Fahim

and he has this distant relative
who also comes to our school
and he is called Jamil

(BTW, they both look kinda similar)

when i go walking around in skul with my friends, and i start thinking of Fahim

I have many people who I still call friends that I do not enjoy any more. I have changed and they have not. I have expanded my mind and intellect and they are still the same person they were 20 years ago. I am disappointed at their lack of growth. They still want to get together with me but no longer really interest me.

I could use the "I am so busy" approach, but that would be a lie. Or I could be really slow to return their emails or phone messages, but that would be rude.

How have you dropped friends that insist on getting together but you do not enjoy anymore?

(Yes, I know I sound like a snob, but the question is sincere)

I usually take my pill between 10-12 or occasionally later at night, pepends what i'm doing, i've just finished my 7 day pack which i was meant to start again on friday night.... but my alarm didn't go off and i forgot and didn't remember till 12.30 the next morning and took it than!!

Me and my boyfriend use condoms anyway so i'm not worried about that, but on the leaflet it says if you have more than 7 pills left (which i do) take a weeks break at the end..... But it's xmas season, parties plus my boyfriends going away so we won't see each other for almost 6 months and it's his bday!!! Can i just skip my period anyway... i wasn't that late???? Only thing is this is my second month of being on this particular pill.
