Well I think you MEANT to ask what other kinds of matter are composed of only ONE TYPE OF ATOM. You see, an element is a type of matter in which ALL THE ATOMS are identical, ie it's made up of only one type of atom. So all 92 "naturally occurring" elements are each made up of only one kind of atom, as are the man-made elements with atomic numbers beyond 92. Thus you can see that there are correspondingly 92 KINDS of (naturally occurring) atoms. A mineral is a type of matter sourced from nature that can be used and exploited via technology. Some minerals such as gold and to a lesser extent silver may be found in nature in their pure element form in some places (depending on the geological history of the specific spot). However many other valuable minerals need to be chemically processed to derive the useful part of it. For example Aluminium (an element as above) is processed from it's ore "bauxite", Iron (an element too) is derived from various types of iron ores, as are copper, lead, tin, zinc, sulfur, chlorine, and so on.

All elements are made of only one type of atom.

The group of metals that contain gold, siver, copper, and iron are commonly referred to as the transistion metals (because the oxidation number varies-depending on how it bonds with other elements,)

The word you are looking for really depends on what you are learning about.

Are you learning about the periodic table: transition

Are you learning about classification of matter: pure

Are you learning about the 3 general types of elements on the PT (metals, nonmetal, and metalloids): metallic

Wish I knew the context of your question for a more definite answer.
