I have been up most of the night with indigestion and my stomach feels really upset, but I don't know how to make it feel better. I tried antacids which didn't help much. Can you still catch the "flu" virus even if you had the shot and also what can I do to relieve my stomachache the fastest?

Sometime all you can do is wait it out.

However, you may become dehydrated if you barf or sit on the "throne" too much. So try to drink stuff like Gatorade to restore fluids and electrolytes to your system. I have found that saltines and ginger ale or 7-Up works, too.

You may have contracted the new cold that has been going around. Flu shots don't work on this particular virus. It usually begins with a sore throat and upset tummy, then goes on to fever, sore joints, and terrible fatigue, followed by a really bad upper respiratory reaction and coughing. I got it last Summer and doggone, I was very, very sick.

I hope you do NOT have it. It took everyone I knew, and me, about 6 weeks to finally get well.

I do not just like the style of water both. You can get those matters at Wal-Mart or any grocery retailer, I suppose they're made my Crystal Light. You simply positioned one packet right into a bottle of water and shake. They have differnt flavors like Rasberry Tea, Peach Tea, and Fruit Punch they do not have any sugar or something else in it. I even received my children to drink water that means.

sip on some warm gingerale, and eat some dry toast, you have to put something in your stomach to soak up the acids... i would take some pepcid or tagamet or plain old pepto bismo!!!
