Most of the thumbs-down in this section are just because you don't agree with someone's religion. Maybe we should just ignore those people one day a week, and just emphasize the positive with Thumbs-Up to the answers we think are the best! Anyone with me?

I have been given a thumbs down for asserting i admire peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in answer to a query that asked if it replaced into okay to throw bananas at Christians. LOL i'm getting them plenty, for concern-free solutions too. i've got even considered thumbs down on each and every answer to a query the place each and every answerer replaced right into a Christian--feels like some human beings objective Christians. yet i understand atheists and others sense a similar way. i think of i'm going to easily blame it on trolls. lol

Absolutely!
I only thumbs-down answers that spout opinion as fact, or things that aren't true as fact, or if they're rude.
Everyone else gets a thumbs-up, or nothing at all.
And Bildo, I don't give thumbs-down to people just for being atheist. Why would I do that? I only thumbs-down for the reasons given above. And yes, I am a Christian.

I'm game. I say we hold back from giving a Thumbs Down just because you disagree with someone's religion.
I will probably still give a Thumbs Down to jerk answers.

That would be wonderful, and R&S needs it badly. I doubt that people would, though. There's always someone giving thumbs-down.
