What I mean is this, there is a lot of generalizations on both sides in this forum. I myself have foolishly made a few. When someone posts a question that is generalized, why do so many take it personally as if the questioner was directing it singly at you. If it doesn't apply then why take if personally?

madlibs...now that’s not true, I do try and single out the element I am referring to. example I know the difference between the far-leftist and liberals, I know the difference between republicans and conservatives. so when I say a few, a few is a honest description. I am also referring to the ideology and not the individual.
