My mother is maid and so was my grandmother. I was just wondering because my mom comes home with all kinds of stories of the filth she cleans up after people. She doesn't always get a tip when they check out. She tries to make extra money by collecting cans that the guests use.

First of all I don't think he's good enough for her, granted he's a great guy, a "good catch" but I just don't think he's her match. She's 22 (which I don't think is old enough) but she wants to have kids and the whole big thing from age 25-30 (she's engaged now). She's talked to me about it and she loves him but I can tell she's hesitating.

He's not romantic enough for her wants (well he's not really at all) she'll tell him things she wants to do and without him ever contemplating it before (like ice fishing, hunting, pilots liscense, ect) he'll go out and do it with is buddies with out her.

Together they just seem like the type of people that will grow old and not do anything, and that's not her at all. She wants to live her life and I want to encourage it. I told her I don't think he's good enough for her but stopped there because don't know how to say how I feel. She needs to make her own decision but I feel I need to tell her more of how I see it. How do I tell her that?

My thinking is no, not really, not on a personal level. Just as I wouldn't feel very sympathetic to someone who sniffed glue all day and then jumped into the tiger pit at a zoo. Offcourse I would want the guy who did it to be punished to the full extent of the law. Two dumb people made really stupid decisions that night, the girl literaly got screwed so the guy should atleast get legaly screwed as much as possible, and maybe screwed in jail lol.

But to pass off the woman as some innocent who did no wrong, that's really pushing it. If you live a reckelss lifestyle you get wrecked, right? What do you all think?

I have driven a Kia Picanto through a flooded road. The water came over the bonnet as I drove through the flooded area. The car seems to be working fine, the electrics are all OK and the brakes are OK - but I can hear water sloshing around when I drive the car. Where is the water likely to be and does it matter if the car is working OK ?

We live in NY state. We own a mobile home located in a mobile home park. We pay rent on the lot. We are a little behind, but nothing major. We had our home sold. The buyer asked the maintenance man about our payment history without our permission. The maintenance man told him we were behind $1900.!!! This amount is totally wrong. First of all, I feel the mainenance man should not have had access to these records and should have referred the buyer to the park manager. Second, this amount is way off. Third, how can the maintenance man release our personal credit/payment info without our permission. I feel that with him releasing the wrong amt, etc, it is slander. It also caused us to lose the sale. We were going to take money from the sale and catch up the lot rent. Any insight or info would be appreciated

l was recently terminated from my job after only a couple of months. The form they gave me states that "You are being released from your employment, The reason for the separation "Failure to complete 90 day probationary period". My boss was very shocked becos she had always told me how hard working and proud she was. l believe the real reason l was let go was because of my misdeamenor (shoplifing) record that was DISMISSED 12yrs ago when l was 18. I was asked abou it 2 weeks before l was let go. i did not put it on my app because l was not convicted. i went did a program and the charge was dismissed. The question on the app says "Have you ever been convicted of a felony or Misdeamenor? i belive l might be getting another job soon but l told the employer during my interview that l was laid off. They will be doing an employment check and l am a little worried about what my previous employer might say. Also, l don't really know how to answer why l left my last job. Please advise.
