i have had feelings for this person for almost a year now. he leads me on to beleving i have a chance with him and then the next thing i know he is out with another girl. he talks about kissing me and things like that but never carries it out.

most of you would probably just stop talking to him but something in my brain won't let me stop talking to him or liking him.

whats going on there? is there something i can do about it?
does anyone know why this happens?

When I'm alone, I talk to myself. I pretend people are there and I talk to them about anything random. I pretend they are my friends from school or someone I want to meet. I am fully aware they aren't there. No hallucinations for me. They don't answer back, I answer for them. Anyway, I would act things out as if there was another person there. I pretend I'm someone else, usually someone who was raped or beaten as a child. Seven years later and I still do this, except now it's more of a habit and I tend to do it as soon as I'm alone. Before, I would only do it when I was bored or sad.

I'm scaring myself because I'm starting to believe this 'pseudo-reality' is more real than I intended it to be. I'm starting to want to become the people I pretend to be. No matter how many people I surround myself with, I would still rather be someone that isn't there.

I was at a concert with my mom and I thought to myself, "Wow! I can't wait to tell so-and-so about tonight!" except I don't know them.

Im doing my clinical rounds @ a hospital in a town populated w/a fair amount of Jewish people . So when we get there Sat morning about 730a all of the buttons are pushed on the elevators and we stop at each floor on the way up. We didnt know why each afternoon it was "fixed". So then today someone said it has to do with the Jewish religion and them not doing any work? To push the button I guess? Does anyone know or can explain this to me, Im very curious about it and miraculously many people @ the actual hospital dont even know!

To make the AR 3 round burst what needs to be modified or special parts that need to be put in the rifle and make it ATF legal? I'd like to have a pistol lower so I can keep the option of keeping pistol parts on it or turning it into a rifle. I guess its not legal to take a rifle and put a short barrel on it.

I'm 14 years old and I ate hard food and part of my left molar is loose on the side. It broke off but it is still attached to the gums just not the whole tooth. The thing is, i had a root canal on that molar.I don't have a crown there only a filling...The part that broke off is hurting like crazy I can barely eat, IT HURTS REALLY BAD. I thought the tooth is dead is it supposed to still cause pain? Can the dentist still save the tooth or will it result to extraction?
I'm gonna tell my mom to schedule a trip to the dentist later.

So, I'm going to be a 'big sister' with big brothers big sisters, and was wondering if anyone had good (free or cheap) ideas of what I can do with my 'little'.
I've not been matched with a little brother/sister yet, but I'd like to have ideas ready for my bi-weekly hour visits. I've requested a little brother between the ages of 6 and 9. I'll be seeing them during school hours and will not be taking them from the property, so everything needs to be able to be done in either the library, playground, or classroom.

i work in a department store. in our area there are only 4 of us. anyway i asked my boss for time off because i am a college student and i have a week break before i start a new semester. he gave me the time off but on Monday i have to work 6pm to
close, so about 3 1/2 hours. i really don't want to go in on Monday. i don't have any family where i work/go to school, so basically all monday i would sit around in my apartment alone waiting to work. i have to drive home about 4 hours. if i go into work for those 3 hours i wouldn't get to leave until the next day. it seems really dumb to go into work for just 3 hours. it is really important for me to go home because i haven't been in 3 months, and i probably wont get to again for another 2 months. i know it wont be busy, and its only three hours to cover. I've never called in to work before. should i call in? and if so what should i say?
i know other people have called in but i always feel so guilty.

Its been a week and it has not even started to heal i was every upset my parents were fighting and I just cant take it anymore. so I cut myself I know I need to stop I'm trying. I had my 2 lower wisdom teeth removed in June , i don't have anything negative to say about the experience -- everything went well, literally piece of cake, the healing process was a b*t** however, lots of pressure in the area's that were healing.....i was pretty sure at the time is was coming from the wisdom tooth area that was removed - during the extraction they chipped my tooth (the one next to the wisdom tooth they were removing)

2 weeks ago i went in to get my chipped tooth fixed -- ever since that i've been getting that pressure like symptom but in the jaw area - spreading at times in the centre of my jaw, or the top or bottom -- always different. Thank God for Advil as i'm taking one every 5 hrs so the headaches and pressure go away.-- i'll even wake up at night with the pressure -- its extremlely uncomfortable --- I have an appointment next wk with my oral surgon -- does this sound like TMJ or a possible infection ? but where - in my jaw?

How will I be able to distinguish whether this awful tension/weighted feeling in my chest is that of anxiety [I do have OCD and have been molested in the past; I am already taking medication and am getting help from a therapist] or it is that I dont want something and Im forcing myself to do it?
