i have had feelings for this person for almost a year now. he leads me on to beleving i have a chance with him and then the next thing i know he is out with another girl. he talks about kissing me and things like that but never carries it out.

most of you would probably just stop talking to him but something in my brain won't let me stop talking to him or liking him.

whats going on there? is there something i can do about it?
does anyone know why this happens?

It's because you have these feelings that's why you'll be there for him for ever.....I advise you in order to keep your friendship to find a boyfriend otherwise you will be heart-broken not once but many times....I had a friend who was in the same situation and she felt really bad because he was behaving like a someone who loved her but as in your case he went out with girls and she felt terrible......That's why just find a boy for yourself otherwise it will get worse.

Obviously he doesn't feel the same way you do. Find someone else to focus on. Don't be surprised if the boy you like starts to take more interest in you. It happens all the time.

I bet if you went out with someone else, that would grab is attention! I'm usually not one for head games, but this one works 99% of the time.
