Is Canada going the same way as US in school gun crime? My perception of Canada was of a relatively safe country... especially on its gun controls.

I'm looking for party games to play at a coed birthday party for 4th graders. The birthday girl is thinking party games are pretty lame, because she can't imagine her teenage siblings thinking they were cool. I want her to be a kid, for at least one more year -- got any suggestions?

It's a water powered A/C unit; basically cold water is pumped throughout the building and then it goes through a fan unit that blows out the cold air. For the last few months, it was beeping every few minutes. Got annoying, talked to the super and he had someone come look at it. The guy told me "It's a fire alarm.. needs a new battery." Well, I had already thought about that and checked all of them; definitely not a fire alarm. I finally tracked the noise down to the A/C unit, stuck my head up into the trap panel and I'm positive it's coming in or near it. Finally, we gave up since all the "professionals" who came to look at it were stumped, but now it's a shrill alarm sound and it's driving us crazy. Once again, the super is no help at all. It basically sounds like a security alarm panel when it's signalling that a door/window has been left open. Kind of a high pitched "eeeeeeeeeeee..." noise non-stop. Please someone tell me you know what it is.

One thing about divorce that scares me to craziness is that I don't want to be alone the rest of my life. I have three kids and I don't see anyone ever being ok with dating a women with so many obligations. :( I fee like I am attractive (110lbs, super long hair, nice personality, active in outdoor stuff, etc) but that doesn't seem to help me feel any better. Do men really care all that much????

Can anyone help me with my concentration for AP Studio Art?!

I have a few weeks to think of one but I'm still freaking out. I was going to do destruction, but I don't know if it would work for 12 photos, i think it would be boring. I JUST NEED A DAMN CONCENTRATION and i looked everywhere for suggestions and racked my brain and i still can't think of one i really like. I don't want to do shadows, portraits, or negative manipulation. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP lol.

Little information- I'm a senior in high school, amateur photographer and my whole portfolio (due in May) is going to be done with digital, black and white, and color photography.

i have a nikon 5 mega pixel digital camera
a manual slr camera? i forgot the name but its nikon.

and im looking into buying a slr digital nikon
and i can use adobe photoshop at school.

help would be GREAT.

I have PCOS, and I never know when my period is due (between 1-5 times per year) I started bleeding yesterday morning. At work (about 3:00 a.m. I passed a blood clot (?) that looked strange. I examined it, it was red and slightly gray. I think it was a baby, I could see what appeared to be eyesockets and maybe an inbilical cord. I looked at a website and seen a 7 week old fetus that looked just like what I seen (more than the pic of 6 wks, less than the one at 8 wks.) Is this just a conicidence and maybe it was just a blood clot, or was I pregnant and had a miscarriage? I thought maybe I could be pregnant, but have spent a lot of money being excited in the past on home preg. tests, and always negative. My boobs were really tender, i felt nautious off and on, then on the 12th starting at like 2 am, had really bad pains (normal with PCOS) but now I'm convinced it was me having a miscariage. Advice or answers, please help me!

I was just thinking about this question, its not a joke or anything, but nobody really could give me an answer. I was just thinking about...what happens if theres a blind person whose also deaf, and can't hear. I mean like........you know what I mean....wouldn't that be such a horrible life to live, being blind, not hearing anything, and not being able to talk, only being able to feel. I have a new upstairs neighbor. Nice, middle aged, single woman. She isn't home much. She has two very small dogs (a pom and a yorkie) that do nothing but yap all day. And at night when she is on her computer (which is right above my son's crib) the sound of her computer chair rolling around on the hardwood floor is SUPER loud. She needs something under it. How can I mention these things to her without sounding mean or picky? I am usually really easy to get along with. I never heard the last couple that lived up there, so they never bothered me. I want to keep a good relationship with my new neighbor, but the dogs and the chair are really bothersome. Help?!

I need to know a hotel room that costs less than 20 dollars a night near the US embassy. Doesn't have to be walking distance but close enough to take a short cab ride.. short as in less than 10-15 mins. Please provide website or name of the hotel and rate. Thank you.
