I graduated last month with a paralegal degree. I moved back to the small town I'm originally from, and have not found any jobs at all, not even related ones. I've been looking in the local papers, job sites, talking to the few contacts I have. Do you think going to various law firms with resumes would help, or does that sound too desperate? I am desperate to get a job - I've even applied to jobs in the city where I went to school, an hour away, but the drive would be too much and I don't want to live there again. What can I do? I'd even settle for a dinky sales job at this point, but I don't think they want me because of my schooling. I have some sales experience, and I interned with a state agency for awhile in public relations in my undergrad (my undergrad is in communications, and I have the paralegal certificate). Should I focus on the legal jobs, going to visit firms? I sent out resumes to firms in town letting them know of my graduation, but got no responses.

Hahahahahaha now i got ya...I have these ANNOYING BEYOND BELIEF neighbors and every wednesday at excatly 6:89pm they do a chant outside in their pool. One day I was trying to take my fourth nap of the evening when those BUTTHEAD/MOTHER (censored) WOKE ME (censored) UP(censored)!!!!!! So i hatched a plan to ruin their chanting hour! So Wednesday at 5:78 I threw gasoline in their 45Ft deep pool and set it ablaze!! Since they don't have anywindows they could see what was occuring!!!! When they came out I put my dog in front of the pool next to the keg of gasoline...they chucked my UGLY (censored) dog into the scorching H2O and left. I used my crane to get the poor withering creature out of the pool (10 minutes afterwords of course) and it is still alive even though it can't bark, breathe without an iron lung, and grow fur back....Was this right to blame my dog?

I think the answer is a lot, but it is not infinate.
Tides are caused by the moons gravitational effect on the earths oceans, but equally the oceans have a gravitational effect on the moon.
This is slowing down the moon at a very very tiny rate.
If we make use of tidal energy, then we slow down the flow of water, therefore increase the rate at which the moon's orbit is being slowed, by an almost infinatesimal amount.
Anyone got an estimate for the numbers?
Presumably the total energy available is the kinetic energy of the moon: 1/2m(v squared), where m is the mass of the moon, and v is it's velocity.
But if the moon slows too much, will it's orbit not decay?
How slow can it go before we need to panic?

Im using Maybelline unstoppable eyeliner ( waterproof, not liquid though) and it smudges under my eyes and on the top. I need a pencil like eyeliner that won't budge. I use liquid sometimes but I hate putting it on every day. Any suggesions?
