Can anyone help me with my concentration for AP Studio Art?!
I have a few weeks to think of one but I'm still freaking out. I was going to do destruction, but I don't know if it would work for 12 photos, i think it would be boring. I JUST NEED A DAMN CONCENTRATION and i looked everywhere for suggestions and racked my brain and i still can't think of one i really like. I don't want to do shadows, portraits, or negative manipulation. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP lol.
Little information- I'm a senior in high school, amateur photographer and my whole portfolio (due in May) is going to be done with digital, black and white, and color photography.
i have a nikon 5 mega pixel digital camera
a manual slr camera? i forgot the name but its nikon.
and im looking into buying a slr digital nikon
and i can use adobe photoshop at school.
help would be GREAT.

Destruction isn't bad, but try some verbs and see where they lead you. Dance, struggle, play, release, capture, sweeten, create, display, the possibilities are endless. Once you pick the word, take a piece of paper and jot down all the aspects and permutations you can think of without leaving any out as being too dumb. In other words, brainstorm. This should give you a great starting point.

Just thought starters:
Visit a museum, look through picture books in the library.
Get some reflective mylar and shoot reflections of objects while distorting the surface.
Shoot reflections off various surfaces.
Shoot in low light and then magnify the noise structure.
Take a single picture and see how many ways you can manipulate it.

How about media on media -- the camera capturing graffiti. There's a ton of it out there and some of it is really good stuff. There's also a lot of garbage but you should have a discriminating eye.

Ok I always wanted to do this but take pictures of shoes different kinds of shoes all over liek one on the highway, one in the trash, one in the woods, etc. not pairs, just one shoe and title it lost soles!!! I always wanted to do this I think it would be great!
