Yeah I think she's totally too young. She obv does not need it. Limit her to chapstick and lipgloss for now. That's crazy if she's wearing that much already. I DON'T even wear THAT much.

Considering she is 11, still just a child, wearing the eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, lipgloss AND foundation, that is WAY to much make-up for a girl that young to be wearing. She should be wearing less and something light.
But there is the other alternative, she could wear all that as long as she doesn't go overboard with it. A little goes a long way.

okay, I'm in 6th grade, 11 also. I wear makeup, rarely eyeliner but sometimes, mascara 2-4 times a week, I don't wear eyeshadow, I wear eye shimmer, I do wear lipgloss, and I don't like to wear foundation. Yes, every girl looks pretty in makeup, and maybe she is trying to impress boys (hehe) but me, I don't. If she's responsible and get really good grades she not, but if she's not too responsible and her grades are F-C then she is trying to impress them.

I don't wear make up b/c i much rather sleep then spend extra time on my face and hair, I know sounds lazy but i am comfortable with how i look and so is my fiancee. i wore makeup when i was younger about 13 but i didn't like how it looked it looked so fake. i'm 20 now and i sometimes wear a little lipgloss. but that is it i think that ag 11 maybe some lipgloss, maybe mascara and eyeshadow if it matches her skin tone..lol but u are the mother. My mom never wanted me to wear make up and my little sister is 12 almost 13 and she gets to wear makeup for like halloween or to dress up.. but she does carry around lip gloss, chapstick but that is it..and i am almost positive ur daughter is doing it to impress boys or b/c the popular kids are

I'm 15 and all I wear is eye shadow and mascara, and I only wear it rarely, like if I have extra time in the morning, or for picture day, church, or something like that. I think 10 years ago an 11 yr old wearing make-up would have been completly inapropriate, but things have changed, but still I wouldn't let her be wearing that much. I'd say some lip gloss and eye shadow. make sure she's washing it off at night as somebody else said, and that she isn't putting too much on. too much make-up in my opinion just makes a person look fake.

Well when i was 11 (which was last year, now i'm in 7th grade) I only wore lipgloss and eyeshadow. I always wore very dark eyeshadow and everyone I knew said I looked like a gothic. so i just decided to wear lipgloss and things were all good. I say she should only be aloud to wear lipgloss and light colored eyeshadows. besides, too much makeup could make her look like a hooker.

I think a tinted lipgloss is as much makeup as any 11 year old should be wearing. But you've already been letting her wear everything, so taking it back now would be near impossible. Wearing all that make-up at 11 years old will make her look older to older boys. It may also attract sexual predators. Its fine and fun for her to experiment with make-up at home, but for everyday wear, its going to be a problem. You should be encouraging her to work on her non-physical attributes and down-play her desire to be "pretty".

I'm almost 13, and I can honestly say that it's fine to experiment when you first start out. However, wearing all that EVERYWHERE? She's only 11! Maybe in her room hanging out with friends at a sleepover, but definitely not at school or other things like that. Also, I'm almost 100% sure she is doing it to impress boys. It's either that or she's doing it because the popular people are doing it. So, it's OK but not so much and not 24/7!!!

I would suggust her just sticking to lip gloss. Or if she wants to wear make up, skip the eyeliner. 11 is still too young for eyeliner. Wait till she's about 13. I would say skip the mascara and foundation too, but that's really up to you.
I started make up at a early age and I not exactly regreted it, but I just wish I had listened to mom and started a little later.

11 is definitely too young to wear all that. Try letting her wear all that when shes in high school. All that makeup at her age will just give her bad skin in the future and ruin her youthful beauty. I suggest you limit your daughter to just curling her lashes and lipgloss until shes 12, then let her add one item.
