Where is THE crowd?

I really don't like to be around poor people or working/lower class people so where do the rich people hang out?

Central Park?
Broadway
Museum of natural History
South Bronx?

I am taking Film and TV Production in Toronto and I either want to be a scriptwriter, visual editor or something like a music producer with my sound background.
I think I want work in TV more than movies, but of course I'll take anything starting off.
I'm trying to decide where I should live which will increase my chances of getting a job. A lot of people automatically think "Hollywood" but with so many people thinking that, are there actually that many jobs in Cali?
Basically, I'm between B.C., Caliornia or Toronto. What do you guys think? Preferably I would like to be somewhere warmer which suggests B.C or I was trying to think of another south western state which would also offer lots of film and tv jobs.
Any thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated

Sometimes I am driving late at night and wonder if the car pool lanes become "regular lanes" at, say, midnight. Or if they are always car pool lanes. For instance on the 14 freeway there are signs that say the car pool lane only is in effect during the morning rush hour. Has anyone ever taken the chance? Gotten busted?

Let me be more specific... We're taking a car trip from Denver, CO to the very northeast corner of Missouri... what would be some fun stops to make along the way? We'll have 6 and 4 year olds with us. Where do you recommend stay the night?

I tried to buy these tickets directly from Aladdin/Planet Hollywood's website but can not find it. Is this show playing in June and are tickets for sale yet? I don't really want to pay the extra handling charges other websites charge you for buying tickets from them. It also seems a little "unsafe." Any suggestions? Or should I look for another magic show to go to?

What about the traffic, cleanliness and friendliness?

Are there shuttle services to/fro San Ramon and SFO airport?
How much do they cost? The passenger does not drive in the freeway, so renting a car may not be an option.

Besides the obvious, the zoo and SeaWorld, what else do you recommend doing in San Diego? Anything that's free? We live in Washington and will be going to San Diego soon for vacation. Any ideas would be great.

I am making my 1st ever visit to Glacier National Park. In addition to hiking, we will be driving the Going to the Sun Road. I've heard different viewpoints on which direction to drive it.

(a) West to East -- I am coming from the south, by way of the west and this is the preferred route. I hear, too, the dramatic approach of seeing the Great Plains.

(b) East to West -- I read in a travel guide that it's a better choice as the sun is behind you. I am interested specifically whether you get better photographs with the sun in this direction.

Any experiences would be most appreciated!

Thank you.
