Let me be more specific... We're taking a car trip from Denver, CO to the very northeast corner of Missouri... what would be some fun stops to make along the way? We'll have 6 and 4 year olds with us. Where do you recommend stay the night?

These should be a few links to get you started. I live in Wichita but havn't been to the Wild West World yet nor do I know any one who has went yet. My husband works for Cox and they will have their annual company appreciation day there on the 26th. We plan on attending then cuz we get in free and all the rides are free (they'll even feed us, LOL).

I've been to both Kansas City's Oceans of Fun and worlds of fun. Plan on buying a 2 day pass cuz you'll never see it all in one day! A 2 day pass can also be used for both parks. U can use 1 pass for WOF and 1 pass for OOF. Six Flags over Kansas is also an awesome place but not as many rides as WOF and lots of hills to climb!

I've also been to the 2 parks in Oklahoma City. Frontier City and White Water Bay. Frontier City is ok for kids, but for adults I wasn't too impressed. A LOT of walking up hills and down! White Water Bay was also just 'ok'. But i'm not really too much of a water person. Not sure how kid friendly it is..i've only been there once and didn't have kids with me.

Almost all amusement parks have hotel/motels and Inns located near them. The closer they are to the park, the more expensive they will be. Generally you can get a room at any hotel/motel without needing a reservation. We very seldom ever reserve rooms unless we are going to be staying for more than 3 days. And even then, when you check in, they will ask how many days you plan on staying. That way they can offer you a room that has not already been reserved.

I used to live in Wichita but now live in Kansas City, MO. A new attraction for the kids here in KC is Great Wolf Lodge. I know it is kid friendly. It's a hotel and indoor water park. Their website is: kc.greatwolflodge.com

Another GREAT website for Kansas City and kids is: www.kansascitykids.com

Have a great vacation!!

Wamego Kansas I think they have a wizard of oz museum there. I'm not sure. I not even sure if it would be worth it.

Oh, the wolf lodge also. The person above mentioned it. Well worth the money
