I don't know about Fort Reily but Manhattan is only 15 miles away and there are tons of things for kids to do. There is like a children's something on Pontz and um 16th street. A big park on Pontz also. They have a children's museum on pontz too, I think it is next to a school or library. and a book type thing on things for kids to do. Oh, I know visit Holiday INN, By the shell station coming into Manhattan. They always have pamphlets on things to do at motel

Fort Reily has an old train kind of park (pretty small).... There are nice lakes there(Milford Lake). In november and Dec Eagles like flock to the lake that is in Fort Reily/junction city. Good hiking trails. I actually left Manhattan to do the out door things that were in Fort Reily and Junction City

Manhattan
-Sunset Zoo
-Manhattan Art Center (they sponsor kids stuff)http://www.manhattanarts.org/menu/mainframe.htm

-Tuttle Creek Lake Festival
-Riley County Fair and Kaw Valley Rodeo
-butterfly park

Wamego
-Oz Museum (don't know if it is any good)

I don't know anything about this but looks like some moms that live in Fort Riley are looking to start a moms/ play group.

To be honest, nothing.
I've lived in Kansas, the only place you'll find a lot of entertainment is in big cities.
Your best bet is finding a McDonals or Chuck E Cheese
Or just renting videos
Hate to break it you, but there isn't much to do in Kansas.
Sorry.

Go to this website: http://www.riley.army.mil/

It will give you all the information you need for your relocation. Ft. Riley pretty much takes care of their own and tries to make the transition as easy as possible.
