My three trips to Vegas have always been short, so I don't know if I can come up with 10 things to do, but here are a few.....
-See the town from the Stratosphere (there's a great little diner downstairs that your parents should really like called Roxy's, give it a try).
- Stroll through Caesar's
- Watch the fountains show at the Bellagio
- Take in the sites from the top of the Eiffel Tower at the top of the Paris
- Go to Emeril's restaurant at the MGM Grand...try the banana's foster pie!
- most importantly.....SHOP!

first, dont drive. take the trolley or the monorail anywhere you want to go. it inexpensive, quick, and air conditioned. the monorail goes between certain casinos inside to inside and cost about $2 i prefer the trolley, it stops at almost all the casino, cost $.50 and its a great way to see the strip and all the casinos, day or night.
mardi gras floating parade at the rio
gondola ride at the venetian
fremont street
grand canyon via bus tour - full day and you go to hoover dam, lake meade and the canyon, where they give you a couple hours free time to see the canyon, a special imax, and eat or shop.
grand canyon - via helicopter - magnificent!!!
ceasars fountain opera at night
limo drivefrom the strip to freemont st and back - very affordable and really a nice way to relax while you see everyting
designer fashion mall
bellagio fine art
wynn - swankiest place in town as they say
cesars glass flower ceiling and huge roman sculptures
hope you have a great trip. be sure to get insulated water bottle holders to carry with you because you will get dehydrated and not really realize it.
when i took my mom last year, i brought along a mini collaspable cooler on rollers with a handle. it was just the right size for riding the trolly, we kept refreshements in there, put our purchases in it as well, and still had our hands free! it was a life saver.
hope you have a wonderful trip with your parents and make memories that last a lifetime! jackie b

If they want to really experience the wackiness of Vegas, I'd suggest a drag show.
Men dress as famous women and lip-sinc their music. You will be AMAZED at how realistic some of these men are, and the show itself is entertaining.
Shows at larger casinos aren't x-rated, and the costumes and performances can be very well done.
If, however, your parents would be shocked or upset by this, maybe try other shows (magic, music, etc.) keeping in mind that tickets can be very expensive at the last minute.
