Is New York City made up of all 5 boroughs (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, etc.) put together or is it city by itself? I'm Confused... Because I was looking online and all I could find were the boroughs on maps and nothing saying NYC. If it is a city on its own, then is there any housing there or is it all commercial? And how hard or easy is it to go from one borough to another?

My girlfirend and I are thinking about moving to Colorado from Oregon. What do people think of the Denver Metro Area? What is the public transportation like? What is the weather like?
