I have had a second home in Breckenridge (Breck, to locals) for 21 years. Three years ago we got about two inches of snow on the Fourth of July! A friend of mine who lives there year-round, told me that there have been some years where they have recorded snowfall on the mountain every month!

The Breckenridge Ski Area (Peaks 7, 8, 9, & 10 of the "Ten Mile Range") have snow caps throughout the summer. Also remember that the town of Breckenridge, which is at the base of the ski area, is at 9600 ft. elevation, where as the elevation at the peak is 12,998 ft. - so, "technically", it could snow at/on the Breckenridge Ski Area but not in the town of Breckenridge.

If your question is geared more toward - when does it snow enough for the ski area to open? - that is almost always the first week-end in November.

There will usually be a snow in late September, most definitely snow in October and beyond.
