my wallet was stolen from my backpack in nyc. i filed a police report. aside from calling social security, trans union and equifax on monday morning
where else should i report this? (please include number also) what other steps should i do if any? please help and keep your wallets safe when in new york city on 35th and broadway. thanks to all who can be helpfull in advance :-)

I know there are a few opal mines up in the northwestern part of the state, but that is like 12 hrs+ from Las Vegas!!! I need a mine at least half that distance... I guess max would be 8 hours. Any ideas??

Or another idea would be some mine in arizona/californina, since las vegas is on those border. Actually... I dont even care if it is an opal mine.... let me know if there are any mines I can dig at near Las Vegas.... Thanks!!!

The 2007 national finals rodeo... it's in LAS VEGAS (as it is every year) .. it always sells out. I want to get tickets early. Yeah, it's in DECEMBER!! But, i dont know what the OFFICIAL site is for purchasing tickets. I've seen a handful of sites offering tickets--just cant tell what the real deal is --- and who is a broker with crazy prices. I want to order em @ face value & save dough. Hope all this makes sense.

I'd just like to know what kind of things there are to do?
I'm from New York City. I really enjoy museums, parks, great weather, and nature.
What does San Francisco have to offer?
Oh, and are the people there open-minded? Because I have a low self-esteem and I hate when people look at me kindof funny.

I am planning on taking some long-overdue time off work for a vacation, and am looking for some ideas for interesting places to visit in the US. I will be travelling alone, and enjoy museums, zoos, art, but also enjoy light hikes, and "meeting the locals" etc. Would like to keep cost to about $1000 for a week, and if it's warm, that would be nice too! (Fed up with all the snow in Indiana!) Driving or flying are both acceptable means of travel, and I enjoy the creative, different, unusual, and unexpected...

A few friends and I were thinking about going to sedona for the day. One of my friends asked his parents and his dad said yes. no worries there. When I asked my mom, she was rather hesitant becuase I would be the one driving. We live in phoenix and sedona is only two hours away. I served on a ship while in the US Navy with a guy who was a freshman that day and the storys are crazy. He was not in the main part but still, also he told me how Rachel Scott was not a "perfect little cathloic" She was actually rude, smoked and not perfect if you know what I mean.
