Since this is some time in the distant future, I would recommend that you spend a little bit of time every day researching different locations that pique your interest. Most states have rural areas, so you need to discover what kind of rural country appeals to you ... as the climate and geography is very different from state to state.
Rather than suggesting places, I think encouraging you to research lots of areas will best get you heading where YOU will most enjoy it!
