The airport stations is actually in the airport. It is just past the baggage claim area in the south terminal. This is closest to the Delta checkins. The station is the very south most one on the MARTA line. The Atlanta rail system (MARTA) is very simple, so you should not have any problem. Downtown Atlanta is obviously a lot of stations. The biggest one is 5 points, which is also the east/west transfer point. Good luck.

Yes! The system is called MARTA and provides a direct train from downtown to the airport 7 days a week all day from about 5 AM until about 1 AM. The fare is less then $2.00
