I drove from New England to Wyoming this past Septemeber, and on the way through South Dakota I started seeing all the Wall Drug billboards. There has to be at least 50 along route 90 in South Dakota alone. The advertising works, though. I got off the highway to check it out. It's just a giant giftshop.

Starting right after Chicago, probably 50 or so.
