City square of the ruins of Pompeii, with Vesuvius in the background. It is a city frozen in time, with remnants of people going about their day still preserved from that ancient time.

The Grotto, Isle of Capri (fluorescent blue water that is amazing).

The City of Venice at night. Some parts so ancient and others very modern. You can walk for hours through narrow alleys and swear you can hear voices like ghosts filling the wind as it winds down the alley. It goes through you. This is also the most romantic place on Earth.

Venice Italy, Showing our daughter Yosemite Valley where her father had climbed the Nose on El Capitan 25 years ago, and seeing her see as I saw the beauty of Half dome and the whole Valley not only took my breath away but brought a tear to my eye. We don't have anything that high in Australia.

The view from the Eiffel Tower. And it didn't take my breath away just from walking up the stairs (well, that was a lot of it. But not the point) It was a beautiful clear day, and I could see for miles and miles. Magnificent!

Yosemite National Park. 3000 foot vertical cliffs are breathtaking. Crater Lake is also impressive. The water is the deepest blue you have ever seen.
