I heard how people put together groups of rated players and go to Vegas and as long as they gamble for a certain amount of time they receive certain comps. I'm looking how to do this.

My boyfriend wants to go for a Saturday day trip to New York, specificially Central Park to see the Christmas tree. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on where I can park that is within walking distance of Central Park that will have open spaces on a Saturday. Also, what would be the best time to arrive in New York on a Saturday, to maybe beat some traffic. Thanks!

We might go on a family vacation in early April, and I suggested the Grand Canyon but my dad said it might be snowing then. Snowing? Does it snow in the Grand Canyon in April?
Thanks! ;)

I can get a good deal on a hotel in Tarrytown, NY, but I don't know if there is much to do in that area. My main concern is if there is easy transportation from there to NYC, preferably by a rail transit. I also know Sleepy Hollow is close by, but I don't know if there is much to do there either. It is a trip for my 30th b-day (a girls trip). I'm interested mainly in the areas of sightseeing, nightlife, and shopping. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful.

I currently live in the northeast part on the country (NJ), and my husband, my 2 children and myself have to move to CO. I narrowed it to Westminster & Castle Rock. I like to be able to be in a large or be near a large town area with good schools and nice people. Which town is better and not boring since we will not know anyone.

For those that have long lived in LA and know all of the city and surrounding suburbs and environs well, what would be your opinion, from ongoing info you've seen/heard, on the safest neighborhood or suburb to live in in greater Los Angeles? Safest as in lowest crime overall, and low or no gang activity. :-)

Now here's another qualifier I forgot to mention up there: inexpensiveness. LOL! In other words, the safest CHEAP place to live in LA (i.e. apts at $800 or less). I know that there's probably a huge discretion between safe and cheap; probably have to have less of one to have more of the other! But, I'm still checking anyway. :-)

Hope to hear fromyou soon. Thanks, Los-Angelians. :-) LOL

I'm moving to Chicago end of 2007. Just curious, I grew up in Florida and am used to the warmth. What is Chicago like? How long are the winters? How harsh are the winters? Is it a good place to live in your opinion...? Just tell me anything about the city, if you live or have lived in or around Chicago...thx

I am traveling through DC this December. I am coming in on a greyhound bus to the main station and then leaving on an Amtrak train. I need to know how far the two places are apart and generally how long of a layover to plan. I know that there is a greyhound stop at Union Station, but the bus I need to use does not stop there.

The map I've seen says the two places are about 2-4 blocks from each other depending on the site I use to map. I just want some more practical advice. Are there shuttles or a walkway; or is a Taxi the best option?

I will be working in Clarkston, but do not want to live there. I was thiking about Norcross or Stone Mountain. If anyone could provide me information about these areas (or any other communities nearby) I would really appreciate it. In particular, I'm interested in how safe the community is and what the apartment choices are like (still have to rent). Anything else that seems relevant would be appreciated.
