Is it legal to hike the Alaska Highway?

People ride bicycles on it, so I would guess it's OK. Be prepared for everything though. I would check with Canadian Customs, that might be your biggest hang up. It's very sparsely populated and depending on the time of year, traffic can be very light if you were planning on hitching a ride at some point.

Hm, it might not be illegal, but try it first at day in heavy traffic and see what happens. Now will you?
