Texas, Montana, Florida, Utah, California, Vermont.
I find most states on the map by their proximity to these states.
Alaska and Hawaii are pretty recognizable too, but only because they are always off on the side.

Minnesota, Texas, Florida, California, Kentucky, Tennessee (if i remember right...or was it Pennsylvania?...)......they're all pretty recognizable.

I think Texas and Florida are the two most distinctively shaped states, in my opinion. I also recognize Colorado quickly, but only because I live there. It's just a big, boring rectangle, really.
