We might go on a family vacation in early April, and I suggested the Grand Canyon but my dad said it might be snowing then. Snowing? Does it snow in the Grand Canyon in April?
Thanks! ;)

Yes, it can snow at the Grand Canyon in April. The south rim is around 7,000 feet while the north rim (the road to which is likely not even open yet) is higher still. You might consider going to Arches, Canyonlands or Zion if you want to go to this area in April. These national parks are considerably lower in elevation but it still can be blustery at any of them in April.

The South Rim is open all the time but sometimes the North Rim closes

Yes, it might, but it probably won't. Check with the NPS web site

It can. The Grand Canyon is in Northern Arizona, which is mountainous, not desert, and it does snow there in winter, and it depends on how long and harsh winter is this year.

It is possible. The only month snow has never been recorded is August. It is also possible that it will be in the 70s
