I did not look into Aurora, CO aside from looking into Castle Rock & Westminster. I found an abundance of things to do there on the internet. It looks pretty nice. Do you know anything more on Aurora, personally? Any areas I should watch for? Good place to raise a family?

I will be traveling to Colorado for the holiday (to be specific, La Junta, CO) for about 9 days. While out there, I'd like to go snowboarding-- can someone recommend a ski resort I should go to near La Junta? If anyone know of any package deal (hotel and ski lift ticket), let me know that too.

I'm meeting up with 4 of my guy friends and none of us are from Tampa and we are hoping to find a really fun place to go for new years eve. Dancing is cool.....but most importantly a place with cool, unpretentious people would be the key. Thanks!

My family (husband & 2 young kids) have to relocate to Colorado. We've decided on Westminster, CO. We are coming from the northeast area and we are used to and like to be exposed to different types of people, let alone interesting restaurants. Even though CO seems beautiful I understand that some areas can be a bit conservative,100% white and under the 'Bible Belt". That is just not me and I would not like to feel left out. Is Westminster (aside from Boulder) a good place to look?

Hi, I need some help. I am going to my Dad's burial next week at Calverton National Cemetary on Long Island. I am thinking of flying into JFK airport and then getting to Calverton on Long Island.

Do you know if there is a bus or train that goes out that way? Is it crazy to drive from JFK up hwy 678 turning on to hwy 495 out to Calverton?

Any help or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I'm going to be in Phoenix for the whole of December until early January, and while there i wanted to check out any music studios (especially) and music shops that sell guitars and pro audio equipment. If you have weblinks that would be uber great.

We are possibly moving to the Seattle area. My husband will be working in Kent. Would love input as to areas to live within a half hour commute that is family orientated, good schools, prices around $350-400K, larger lots. We have two small boys (2 & 4 yrs) We are somewhat conservative in our late 30's. We currently live in the outer areas of San Diego, so I don't want big city, but don't want in the middle of nowhere either. I'm not a country girl & need close shopping. PLEASE no Realtors or loan people answer. I am looking for the opinions of residents.

Ok I'll be completely honest with most of you I'd like to move there. At the Beach at the moment, which is ok, but for what I'm paying out here I think I could do better (1,300). Then again maybe I'm a bit niave about that. Anyway, we're thinking about watching the ball drop in Times Square, but we're unsure if we should take the train from here or just drive up there, where to park if we do drive, and how to hold onto our money, which wasn't a problem the last time, even given the fact that I fell asleep on the train (which wasn't that smart of a thing to do), but that's neither here or there. So, aside from getting up there, how much should I be prepared to shell out for that day or so ...

How many skyscrapers are there? Seriously, because I read an article stating that Miami would have like 71 in the next six years, Dubai like 90, which in most of our minds would suggest that these cities are trying their best to emulate Manhattan. So I'm wondering, technically, how many there are in NYC; not just tall buildings, but those that can technically be considered as skyscrapers. I should have asked his question yesterday when I was blogging about the article ...

My wife and I are teachers, so when we go on vacation, we like to get away from children. Are there any hotels in Orlando that aren't kid-friendly so we can lower our chances of hearing screaming, unsupervised kids? Thanks!

We might visit family in Tucson, driving from the south bay of so. California. We once took some freeway off of the 91 or 60, to Palm Springs, to get to the 10 fwy and because of construction in that area, it was a nightmare!

I may just ge onto the 10 freeway near West Covina and take that all the way to AZ. If we get up really early maybe we can avoid any traffic.

We would leave Saturday before Christmas and come back on the Tues or Wednesday after Christmas.

Anyone know this route and the traffic patterns?

My husband doesn't really want to fly. We have family in Blythe and we can take a stop there for rest.
