How many skyscrapers are there? Seriously, because I read an article stating that Miami would have like 71 in the next six years, Dubai like 90, which in most of our minds would suggest that these cities are trying their best to emulate Manhattan. So I'm wondering, technically, how many there are in NYC; not just tall buildings, but those that can technically be considered as skyscrapers. I should have asked his question yesterday when I was blogging about the article ...

According to www.emporis.com, NYC has 5,509 skyscrapers. It is no suprise since a 12 story building it's tall enough to be a skyscraper.

new york city is always undergoing buildings going up and down its hard to have an exact count just recently in the last few months they are going to build about 6 or 8 more buildings and thats what I have noticed on my part of manhattan who knows in the rest of city

the next 10 years of my life 24 hours seven days a week are take with serious questions
