I will be traveling to Colorado for the holiday (to be specific, La Junta, CO) for about 9 days. While out there, I'd like to go snowboarding-- can someone recommend a ski resort I should go to near La Junta? If anyone know of any package deal (hotel and ski lift ticket), let me know that too.

La Junta is out on the plains, you'd need to come closer to the mountains to ski. Try Monarch, that would be closest to where you will be, a few hours.

Try this site: http://www.skimonarch.com/

There is a mini-map on the site. La Junta is east of Pueblo and Monarch is west of Salida, but more or less a straight shot from La Junta. Enjoy!

ok THEN!!!! the truly answer you want is...Loveland Basin is purely fifty 3 miles up I-70 from Denver. it really is on the east area of the Divide and the nearest position to Denver(or Springs for that count number) in case you want a sturdy position to ski. each and every thing else is via the tunnel and into Silverthorne and previous. so that you've about a million.5 hours of pressure time from Denver, given the site visitors on a weekend morning heading for the slopes. examine the circumstances earlier you bypass. we haven't had a lot snow for November yet. So who's conscious what is going to come with the help of in the subsequent month and a 0.5. yet you'll nonetheless have exciting. celebrate with!
