United States - November 2006

I know there have been a lot of Californians flocking to Oregon (and every other hot spot state in this country) over the past few years and I've heard there's some serious anti-california sentiment in Oregon. How true is that? How do you personally feel about Californians? I'm doing a survey and would really appreciate honest responses from Oregonians only. I'm planning a cross country roadtrip and when trying to estimate my hotel cost, I need to know when is the earliest I can check into a hotel before they charge me for the previous night?

Ex. If I check in at 4am and stay one night, will I be charged for 1 night or 2?
If I check in at noon, same question. If I check in at 11:30pm, will they charge me for that night?

Me and my freind want to move to florida in about a 1yr and a half. What are some of the cities that your suggest moving to that are economical money wise and still is a nice city to live in. I really want to go to Miami but I hear its really expensive. Im not looking to move in a lux apt building but I would like to know what are some areas that are just as nice as Miami but not as" expensive ", so to speack?

Me and my friend are planning on moving to Miami Florida in about a 1 yr and a half. We already have the mind set to delete all debt that we may have here where we currently live. Our goal is from now on to save as much money as we can for the expenses of driving down , hotel, food, gas and getting a security depots on an apt and two months rent untill we find jobs. Do you think that this is a good plan and will it help us out in the end? How is it down in Miami, what the adverage for a studio apt or a one bedroom apt thats in an ok neighborhood run ??? Or any other things that might be usefull.. thanks

My husband and I are plannig a trip to Branson this weekend. We have already booked everything. Even, our tickets to Silver Dollar City. I called and we will get a refund on the tickets if the park closes but our hotel still charges a cacellation fee.
