I love Vegas...great get-away.
If at all possible, don't drive on the Strip...or else leave at least an hour before you need to be somewhere. I can't remember the name of the street, but it's behind Paris, the Venetian and all those casinos. You can get to the parking garages from that street.
Check out Downtown and the Fremont Street Experience. I like the downtown area, too.
Paris is my favorite casino...but I love all things French. The Eiffel Tower is nice, but be prepared to wait an extremely long time. It's sort of overrated. Mon Ami Gabi is fantastic! You can get seats next to the window and watch the Ballagio fountain show.
The Venetian is lovely...we've never made it to the Gondola rides...never had the time. But the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is a lot of fun.
New York New York is nice...great roller coaster. The view from the Stratosphere is great.
My husband and I went on a Lake Mead Cruise which was fantastic...I got so many great photos...it takes you up by Hoover Dam. A little something different.
You don't have to spend a lot of money in Vegas to have fun. But if you do gamble, watch your purse/bags. Thieves like to prey on preoccupied tourists. Check out www.cheapovegas.com for some tips on how to have fun without spending a lot.
