I am looking to stay at either La Quinta in Vegas, either the airport location or the one on Paradise and want to know how much of a hassle it is to get to the strip from them!

Should be pretty easy, using the CAT system, take the #108 Paradise bus then transfer to either the #201 West Tropicana or the #202 West Flamingo...Then Transfer to the Deuce>double decker strip bus...One way the CAT bus fare is $1.25, 24 hour passes are available from the driver for $5...

getting to the strip is easy and crowded
getting to paradise i would suggest taking the public bus route 108...

You would need to check with the hotel...any shuttles would be a service provided by the hotel....other than the bus and the monorail I am not aware of a "shuttle".
