I'm going to the US, (Kansas City airport), I have a machine readable passport. As I understand it, if I have ever been arrested AND / OR received convictions, I am not eligable for the visa waiver program, and must apply for a visa. This means taking a copy of my record to the US embassy in London, then waiting anything upto 16 weeks.
I can't wait that long.
So, does anyone know, if I don't declare my convictions, is there any way that the immigration people at the airport will be able to bring up my convictions on the screen? I've been arrested 3 times, and I received 2 cautions and a fine. This was over 6 years ago.

When I touch down in KC, and they check my passport, will it show up on some screen that I have lied? Or will I be ok?

I go to Vegas all the time. Based on Caltrans or CHP sources when would be the best time to leave for Vegas on a Friday night? And, when would be the best time to leave Vegas for Covina on Sunday to avoid traffic. I notice leaving Vegas on a Sunday between 3-6 P.M. really sucks. Also, leaving S. Cali Friday from 5-7 P.M. sucks too. I would like to see if CHP or Caltrans can give a time when traffic is heaviest on Friday to Vegas and Sunday coming home from Vegas.

Forbes just released a list of the most expensive places in the USA.Obviosuly NYC is the most expensive and no.2 is San Francisco.I live in the middle of San Francisco and San Jose and let me tell you its really expesnvie and according the the numbers NY might be just SLIGHTLY expesnive if i move there.Ok here are the numbers let them speak for themselves

I am looking for a safe parking lot to park my car during day time- garaged or with 24 hour security camera in or near downtown LA. I start driving from Union Station area but I heard it's not a very good area. Can anybody recommend me some specific good parking lots (not like "just drive around and see")? Also, someone told me that I should avoid going above (?) 8th st. How about east-west boundary? Where should I avoid going?
