you can drive any car you want and go as fast as you can could you do it dont forget you have to stop for gas and food which can be optional at least the food part can be all other factors must apply traffic rush hour accidents

no. it takes three days to drive it.( 3000 miles)
maybe can do in two days if drive 24 hours in teams and average 60 MPH.
(60 X 48 =3080) but never in the space of 27 hours. you do gain 3 hours if you drive east to west but that is not enough to see it happen all in the same turn of the planet.
you would have to drive about average of 111 MPH 24 hrs per day to make the 3000 mile trip in 27 hours. this cannot be done by road and car. maybe a super fast train could do it if we had some better tracks,

It is impossible to drive from coast to coast in one day. Even with the fastest car you could use and no pit stops what so ever.
