Too bad you missed football season...Watching a Boise State game on the surf turf woulda been fun!
It's gonna be all about winter activities...You can go east a ways and find snow in the mountains...More than likely there will be ice skating. Boise is right on the Snake River, so you might find an opportunity for some fishing, or something (brrr!).
Looks like a few seasonal events going on, too...check out the Visitors' Bureau page...
