I heard how people put together groups of rated players and go to Vegas and as long as they gamble for a certain amount of time they receive certain comps. I'm looking how to do this.

My best advice if your interested in getting more out of LV that it gets out of you is to read the advice of some REAL experts...

Max Ruben - "Comp City"

Jean Scott - "The Frugal Gambler"

Anthony Curtis - "The Las Vegas Advisor" = Newsletter>Web Site

Bob Dancer - Video Poker expert

Some web sites to get you started
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com

http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/vpfree
this site is about the VP scene, but you can use the slot club information on each casino to compare - play vs comps

I play 5K-6K per day>which means 5 hours or so of quarter VP >$1.25 x 4000 hands = 5K > 800 hands per hour is average for VP player...600 hands per hour is slow...Some players, play over 1000 HPH but that's a little fast for me....

Okay now down to the important stuff, what does 5k per day get me? At Main Street Station I get a minimum offer each month of 2 nights free, plus double points and a $20 food credit to start with, even though with my play I have never paid for a meal at MSS...Sometimes the offer is for 3 or 4 free nights and free entry into VP or Slot tournament....

Las Vegas Hilton - Offers range from 3 free nights "including weekends" to 4 free nights with free entry to VP or Slot tournament...Sometimes the offer is only 2 free nights....LVH does offer many times per year "casino rate" weekends you may pay anywhere from $99 to $199, BUT, IMHO the "stuff" you get in return usually far exceeds the cost....I was unable to get a flight from KC to LV for New Years so I had to cancell the deal, but I was booked at the LV Hilton from the 29th of December to the 1st of January...Friday/Saturday/Sunday NYE weekend for $199 plus extras including tickets to the NYE party...

Orleans - Offers of 2 free nights several times per year...It does not take anywhere near 5K to get this offer from Orleans...Just stay there and play there

I have been going to LV for the past 20 years on a regular basis...I average at least 4 weeks per year in LV....Everything from full RFB for 5 nights in a suite at Caesars Palace, several years in a row....To a comp Super Bowl weekend at the Venetian ....MGM free...To taking advantage of free nights at most of the 2-3-4 star hotel/casinos in LV....I refuse to stay in a dump, even for free, NO Westward Ho, Gold Spike, or Western >etc for me thank you...It's all about the value, I get in return for my play...

My first visit to LV was in 1967, it has changed a little since then...

Have fun...You will come out ahead if you play advantage games...Know how to play them well, and use a money management system, such as a win goal, loss limit strategy..

The best table games to play are Blackjack if you learn and use basic strategy "card counting is extra" there are very simple effective card counting systems that will not give you a headache!!

Play Baccarat >Mini Baccarat for most of us, a very simple game with a very low house advantage... Bet on the Banker or the Player...The tie is a bad bet...

Craps> Play the Pass Line > Take the Odds > Place the six or Eight > ALL of the other bets range from bad to terrible....

Video Poker - IMHO is the best to play and the best way to take advantage of "the system" = get the deals that is...The best VP games include 9/6 JOB 99.54% - 10/7 DB 100.17% - FPDW 100.76% - JWKOB 101% (4700RF) or 100.65% (4000RF)..I include JOB because the strategy is easy to learn and has a low variance, most VP players start with this game...Strategy cards are available from the LVA....

And I was going to keep this answer short.. LOL

Couldn't be easier. Sign up for a player's card at EVERY Casino you visit or plan to visit. It only takes a few minutes and you can even do it online at each casino's website.

The cards track all your gaming, as long as you make sure the card is plugged into the slot machine, or the dealers are tracking. Don't forget to to let the Keno runners record the numbers.

Depending on how much you gamble, you can start collecting comps right away, from as little as discounts at restaurants and gift shops, right up to free rooms and show. You can also expect special discount and free room offers in the mail.

Getting comps is MUCH easier than it used to be, when you had to flash huge wads of money around and make a lot of obnoxious noises.

Get the cards!

Easy. Sit down, ask for the pit boss. Tell them that you will eb playing a while, and would like to gets some comps. They will have you sign a card sometimes. Then gamble. And gamble. And gamble. The more you bet, the longer you play, the more you get.

Its usually something like every 3-4 hours at a $10 mi table will get you a dinner. Cheaper joints comp for less money of course.

Well, its all about the Gambling.. obviously. And you have to be noticed gambling. So , you could have visited a hotel 500 times in your life, but if you dont have a players club and bet very small amounts you probably will never be comped. I was comped after my first visit to the Flamingo. I got a players club card, and bet quite a bit my first night. To make things better I even came out on top. About 1 week after I got home, I started getting allkinds of letters inviting me to come out. Some of them even included suites, free spa services ect ect. The hotels will comp the risk takers no doubt. Regardless of if you win or lose, they figure in the end more money will come your way if you stay in there hotel. Think about it, One night of losing gambling for you coudl be more then they would make by you staying in their hotel for a week. Bottom line.. get the players club card and have a couple of agressive nights where you risk alot.

it's all about how much money you intend on spending. the more money you spend, the better your comps (if any at all). the money you intend on spending is measured by the line of credit you get from the casino. i know you can get some sweet comps if you take out a $100,000 line of credit at the mirage or venetian. the person to contact is is marketing and/or vip customer service. going the traditional route will either take too much time or get you no where. the best way to get the service you want is to call and ask who you can talk to to get a $100,000 line of credit (or however much you want/can afford). asking questions like that get you noticed quick.

Sure, you spend enough money every thing is free.

Makes no sense and all the sense in the world at the same time.

Nothing is completely free. The longer you stay, play and tip... the richer the casino and its gets and the more generous they are to you in return. One way or another, your paying for it!!
