i'm from Florida, moved to Pennsylvania, moved to huge apple, then moved to California. With Californians its no longer truly pride, its purely understanding they are the perfect, because they have the most exciting activities, the perfect climate, optimal paying jobs (the rents severe priced although the jobs better than make up for it) and the perfect surroundings and optimal high quality of life. "chuffed cows come from California" isn't only a slogan for a commercial, it truly is a mirrored image on California life. Im no longer from California initially, Florida is my state, so its no longer state patriotism. yet i will evaluate it to different states i have been in, and to sum issues up: Californians are spoiled like no different. Texas has the most pride, and that i dont comprehend what they are so proud about, because i got here upon it to be an really depressing state and that i became in Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, and each and every of the better cities in between those places. Its kind of like a pretend pride they have. yet its the purely state the position they have billboards everywhere for surely no reason except to say "Texas pride" on them, so Texans using alongside the highways can see them even as using and smile to themselves with their Texas pride. I even do not comprehend who will pay to placed all those billboards up, yet thats how substantial Texas pride is to that state lol. in case you ask a Californian what their state has to provide it truly is unique, what they are commonly proud about, they could ramble on for hours. Ask a Texan what they are so proud about and they are going to run out of verbal substitute authentic quick. maximum of them dont comprehend what they are proud about it, yet "Texas pride" is like their state slogan, so that they purely walk round declaring it lots and believing that they are proud in something, although they dont truly comprehend what they are so proud about.

I'd say Texans, but I might be biased since that's where I'm from. We once were our own country, so I think we'd manage on our own.

I dont know about the first part of your answer, but the second part I think is California, based on the sizes of their economies. California, when being compared to nations, has the 16th largest economy in the world.
They have a varieties of industries - including being very agriculture - so it can be a relatively self-sufficient as well.

I'm betting on Texans. They're gung-ho about everthing like that...
But Califoria would be more likely to survive on its own.
