I've been to NYC approximately 5 times already, but this time I'd like to take about three friends, split the gas money, and park the car someplace that won't cost a fortune, won't be a hassle, will be safe, and also be easy to get to downtown Manhattan. I've been told to park in New Jersey and take the ferry over, but also to park in Brooklyn and take the metro over...which would you suggest (or maybe a different way) and could you give a detailed description of where (exactly) to park and the address of the nearest metro station (if your instructions includes it). Of course, ANY information about this is helpful, thanks!

I'm am trying to find a rental car but they allow unlimited miles in my three surrounding states or you have to pay 20 cent per out of state mile or add on unlimited mileage at an extra 30 dollars a freaking day!!! Does anyone know if the car agency can absolutely ascertain if you took the car out of state?

I'm moving in 11 months, and I've been looking for reviews on this apartment throughout the internet for the past 9 months. No one has posted a review on the apartment. In fact, the only thing that comes close is a single, numerical rating on Citysearch:

http://columbus.citysearch.com/yellowpages/directory/Columbus_OH/140/296/page1.html?query=Apartment&miles=30&query=Apartment&search_select=on&store_where_for_comparison=Columbus,%20OH&context=directory&radius_forced=30&sorted=cs_rating-desc

I need to make a decision soon on where to go, and I'm looking for personal feedback on the apartment (atmosphere, appearance, service, parking, recommended or not).

Also, I have not been able to see photos of the interior of Grant Oak. If you can find those (bedroom, kitchen, or dining room, or all of the above), then that would be great. But I'm more interested in a personal review of Grant-Oak.
