my daughter turned 11 in April. She has a boyfriend. They talk on the phone and meet at the movies. I monitor it closely and regularly and even over heard her say "I love you too". It does seem way too young, but at 11 I had a secret boyfriend, too afraid to tell my mom. I don't want it that way for her.
Always remember when, as they grow up.. Be aware not naive. Believe me it will be better in the end if she is comfortable with you to talk, and that way you can always reinforce the limits. with kind honest gentle advice.

It depends how little is little and how you define boyfriend. I had a girlfriend when I was five and we kissed on the lips a couple of times and she brought me a present from her vacation. It's all a question of context.

rellacollins has good advice. it depends on the age and maturity of your daughter. be open to talking with her about feelings, relationships and dating. set some ground rules (especially if there is a significant age difference or this is an online relationship) and monitor the relationsihp. help her recognize the difference between a crush and a healthy loving relationship.
