Besides the fact that it's close to NYC... what GOOD thing(s) can you say about the garbage... uh, I mean... garden state? If no one comments or if you have negative comments, that's fine. I want to hear whatever you have to say about Jersey. I'm freakin leaving this god-aweful place.

I want to live around other young professionals in an area with nightlife/ restaurants/ shopping. I also would like to minimze my commute if possible, but enjoying where I live is more important to me than commute and cost. I have been considering taking the BART in from san francisco. Is this a good option or is there another city/ area nearby that would also be good. Any informaiton would be really helpful, I need to move very soon. Thanks in advance.
