My husband will be home in late September from spending a year in Iraq. I would like to take him somewhere nice, yet not that expensive and also where our 20 mo old son won't be too much of a bother. (he is attached to my hip and once daddy comes in I dont think he can handle daddy leaving again) So like maybe a good place to go for a weekend. Maybe a cabin or something like that.

I will be moving to Connecticut in August of 2006 I am looking at Hartford and Litchfield counties. I am not very familiar with this area so what towns or areas should I avoid? When I say avoid I mean high drug area, high crime area, or just plain trashy looking. Thanks everyone for your input.

I don't want to bring too much money but on the other hand I don't want to bring my entire bank account. I hear that Disney is very expensive so I'm just looking for an estimate to see how much one would generally spend on food and entertainment since tickets and hotel are already paid for.
