Will it hurt the historic image of the town, or boost its economy, which gets alot of money from tourism of historic sites?

No. I think that a casino would do more harm than good. Gettysburg was the scene of a battle where thousands of brave men died. It would be highly inappropriate to have a casino there. I think that the people who visit Gettysburg would find a casino to be tacky and inappropriate and some would be turned off. There are plenty of other places with casinos.

Well, do fast food joints, souvenir shops and tacky wax museums enhance the "historic image" of the town? Casinos are a legitimate business and will provide jobs and tax revenue to the area.

properly, first 2 human beings moved there....then 2 greater....then 25 greater....etc etc.. Do you particularly think of there became a guy who mentioned hey, shall we build a city suited here so human beings will die in tornadoes on 5-20-2013? could desire to have been a niche the place a pair lost a newborn on the way west and desperate to stay close to it is grave.

ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will fight to have this casino destroyed if it is built! I will even try to have the spirits of the great soldiers in the battle open fire on the place with their artillery! Oh, wait. I forgot the Pennsylvania government vetoed the idea. Halelujah!
