July is usually a dry month in San Diego - for the San Diego's climate average readings for July: The relative humidity averages 82 percent near sunrise, 69 percent near noon and 66 percent at 4 pm.
Lindbergn Field (the airport) is located just north of downtown, right on the bay, so it gets a bit more of the coastal fog and such in the morning. The further inland you go, the sunnier and warmer it gets, with more likely that there is less humidity as well.

Unless we have subtropical moisture coming up from Mexico, it will average between 60-65% depending on where you are. I'm in Escondido which is about 35 miles from the ocean and it is always less humid here.
