Check out El Mercado in the historic Market Square in downtown San Antonio, near the Riverwalk. It's the largest Mexican marketplace outside of Mexico.

I lived in SA for about 9 months and still have many things I purchased there. Very authentic.

Here's a link to the shops included in the marketplace, including the address and directions: http://marketsquaresa.com/directory/mercado.htm

The Riverwalk is awesome. Great food, cool stuff. And if you are of age, some good drinking spots also.
